Rationale
When work becomes a routine, it loses its ability to challenge and bring out the best in people. Passion and productivity dwindle. One contents himself into addressing the whirlwind of activities at work and stops being creative and proactive in his or her response in facing workplace situations. Relationships within the work environment become casual and ceases to be positive and supportive of growth.
Work Attitude and Values Enhancement Workshop will revisit the reason why people work, for whom they work, and guide them back to excellence in what they do.
This online workshop will utilize online means and activities to help participants explore their values, their purpose and their contribution to their community. Activities and processing led by a trainer who is an entrepreneur with an extensive experience in working with groups and a background in psychology.
Objectives
The workshop aims to:
- Facilitate discovery of personal purpose that each participant can use to direct their work life.
- Strengthen congruence of personal and corporate values to guide daily decisions in the work place.
- Introduce the importance of culture among the participants and facilitate reflective efforts and commitment to excellence.
- Commit to a plan of action to personal growth and significant professional contribution.
Course Outline
The course will cover the following points of discussion:
Module I. Creating a clear purpose
Learning Objective: To recognize that to be able to move forward, one has to have a clear direction towards a purpose.
Activities: Individual Reflection activity, Dyads, Video and composition of Personal Creed.

- Purpose and personal leadership
- Composing a Personal Purpose Creed
Module 2: Fidelity to Values
Learning Objective: To identify the principle values that propels their actions and direct these values to contribute to the communal values of the company, thus bring into line the two in the performance of everyday tasks.
Activities: Values Identification Test, Group activities, Personal reflection activity.

Module 3: Culture
Learning Objective: Foster building of a culture that supports the integration of values and productivity in the workplace.

Learning Objective: To be able to have a clear plan of action at the end of the workshop.

Course Methodology:
This program consists of online lectures, videos, case discussions, group breakouts. The participants will be given ample opportunities to reflect and synthesize learning with practical steps discussed.
